‘Yolanda’ toll now at 6,300 – NDRRMC

MANILA, Philippines– Deaths from Super Typhoon “Yolanda” (international name Haiyan) increased to 6,300, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Thursday.

The NDRRMC noted additional seven fatalities from Tacloban City.

“Seven persons in Tacloban City were added to the list of dead individuals, to which, the total of dead individuals increased to 6,300. There are no changes in the number of injured (28,689) and missing (1,061) persons,” the NDRRMC said.
